Sometimes you just have to wait

I came home from work today raring to take pictures of the tree in our (well ok, the neighbor’s) backyard that is flowering. I grabbed my camera, let my dogs out, and started snapping away. It wasn’t until the end that I realized that the light was still too bright to capture the delicate pink of the flowers. Everything was washing out. Crud.

So I waited an hour. Perfection.

    • Not a clue. In fact, for most of the year I think it’s a nuisance. I forget that it’s a flowering tree until the blossoms show up.
